Get out of the box…

[Learned from traveling the last 10 months…

Keep it simple!]

This I had to first hand learn that were not taught in schools, by our piers, or were we just ignorant by not listening and accept the the way things were taught?

Or did we just naively focus on what our parents protected us against from what happened in apartheid?

Conditioned to fall into the system. Follow the crowd. Do things the way it has always been done, traditionally…old school style.

The way we SEE things, and the way we PERCEIVE things.

Some of us are a little bit younger that others.

Media’s got a huge impact on how they want us to perceive every day issues.
These days we let the media decide for us. People are very lazy to find out things for themselves nowadays.

From a business point of view:

We live in a ‘free’ country since ’95, yet we still live in a box in our minds.

Blaming others for today’s choices we are forced into making.

Well the time have passed for blaming others. The best things in life are free to attain if we just choose to get out of our own box.

You need to be clear about where you want to end up so that you have the conviction that the small steps you are taking will eventually get you to where you want to be.

Each step you take toward a bigger goal might not seem like much to you.

It may seem like you’re not really doing much at all.

This will be especially true of any outside observers.

Others might think you’re not getting anywhere, that you’re not getting anything done.

That’s why you have to have a lot of confidence in where you’re going.

Working hard for something you don’t care about is called stress;

Working hard for something you love is called passion..

I’m passionate about what I do in life, work and business, if you love what you do its never work..

Why do we often feel so powerless?

Because we convince ourselves that we are.

We wait for things to be given to us – entitlements.

But in life, there are no true entitlements, and the truth is that if you want something then you need to make it happen for yourself.

You need to work for it.

Whether or not today is a great day doesn’t depend on the weather outside.

It doesn’t depend on your “mood” (that’s also within your control).

It doesn’t depend on anyone else.

If you want to have a pleasant and productive day then choose to have one.

It’s all about your perception and what you choose to believe and do.

You have to be willing to be the one who does it first.

You have to establish what’s  your  WHY and what is going to make you get out of bed no matter what.

In order to become a great leader you need to learn to lead from the front not from the back.

Leading from the back is telling someone to do it then you’ll do it after them.

You have to be the one who develops the real skill set not the theory.

The feeling you get from taking the first step is far better than the feeling you get from sitting around thinking about it.

So get up and get moving, is the only way.

Take the first step right now just one small step forward.

The greatest miracle of your success will not be that you finished,it will be that you had the courage to begin.

The future starts right now, TODAY, not tomorrow

Own the responsibility for your life and your journey.

Give yourself the gifts of experiences and relationships that strengthen your deepest convictions about your dream and honour the calling on your life.

Listen to your own voice, the one in your heart that is the keeper of your dreams.

Never let someone convince you that you can not do something especially if they have not done it.

Take the time to find your own path and trust your inner voice.

Know what is true for you..

Now, more than ever, We are a self-learning society, not a society that learns from its parents or from its schools.

Kids are teaching their parents how to use the latest technology, not the other way around.

And tech companies are looking for high-tech kids more than middle-aged executives with college degrees.

To stay ahead of the obsolescence curve, continual learning from up to date resources is vital.

The good news is that it’s never too late to change your thinking.

The bad news is that sometimes some of the hardest things to change are old ideas.

Some of the ones that need to change have been handed down from generation to generation.

They are very powerful ideas to break.

But you need to break them..

Be a good, hard working person.

Start believing in others and empower them to follow their dreams by following your own dream first.

As you embark on this new journey of hope, remember others like great people ” Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Muhammad Ali ” who came before you.

Remember how these people of our time started with such simple ideas to create hope and how your vision has the power to fulfill that same destiny.

No matter how much money you make the most valuable thing you can do is provide hope to others through your own inspirational journey.

Everything you have done up until now has led you to this point, and it’s up to you to take action and not be someone who talks a good game but doesn’t have the willpower to follow through.

Instead of wasting time with on social media, flood your pages with messages of hope and know that they will drown out
the messages of fear.

I leave it with:

“The world we live in is the first and foremost shaped by the mind”
